The Nampa Parks and Recreation Department follows a “community-based” philosophy as we strive to meet the recreational needs of the Nampa community. We place great value on local parent and non-profit organizations that offer youth programs. As our resources allow, the Nampa Parks and Recreation Department will work with our affiliates to help serve the community’s needs.

The Nampa Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee is a volunteer committee comprised of seven (7) individuals appointed by the Mayor. The Committee makes recommendations to the City Council concerning bicycle and pedestrian facility development.
The Nampa Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee meets the second (2nd) Thursday of every month from 4-5 p.m. at Nampa City Hall Council Chambers, 411 3rd St. S., unless announced otherwise. The Nampa Swim Team is a competitive swimming program designed to encourage the physical and mental development of young athletes and improve the health and welfare of the community.
