Lifeguard- Apply Here  
The principal function of an employee in this class is to ensure patron safety within the pool center at the Harward Recreation Center facility as well as Lincoln Pool and Lakeview Waterpark. An employee in this classification must maintain their Lifeguard certification through the American Red Cross. In addition, the employee must maintain certifications in First Aid and CPR. An employee at this level is qualified to work as a lifeguard. The above certifications do not qualify an employee to act as a swimming lesson instructor or a Head Guard. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of an assigned supervisor, but some leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The principal duties of this class are performed at a pool facility. **Please note Lifeguards can maintain employment throughout the year**

Kids in Action Daycamp - Apply Here
Love to work with kids? This program allows you to work with kids ages 5-12 throughout the summer. Kids in Action Daycamp counselors are responsible for supervising and engaging youth throughout the Harward Recreation Center while they play games, do crafts, rock climb, swim, go on field trips and more. Hours are flexible offered Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:30pm, must be a minimum of 16 years old to apply.

Parks Mow Crew - Apply Here 
Performs mowing, trimming and general clean up to City Parks Division properties including parks and other city properties.  Driving to various locations in a city vehicle to perform work including pulling a trailer, loading and unloading equipment and operation of various lawn maintenance pieces of equipment; performs other duties as required or assigned. Must be a minimum of 17 years old and hold a valid Driver’s License.
