racquetball playersThe Harward Recreation Center houses four racquetball courts that can be reserved for up to two hours per day! Practice your splat-shot, challenge a friend, or play doubles in our “private” courts. After you are ready for the world to see your skills, show them off in our glass court! Call the Rec Center front desk to reserve a court for your next game.

Racquetball Guidelines

  • Protective eyewear is strongly recommended
  • Non-marking court shoes only
  • Reservation times are limited to 2 hours
  • Reserved courts must be released upon request

About Racquetball

Racquetball is the fastest racquet sport in the world. At the elite level, service speeds can reach 150 miles per hour. The playing area is made up of a four-wall racquetball court that is 20 feet wide, 40 feet long and 20 feet high. Courts are marked with 1.5 inch wide lines that indicate the service zone, service boxes and receiving zone.

In addition to Racquetball, courts are used for wallyball. Wallyball is similar to volleyball but is faster paced and is played off of the walls. Check out the Wallyball equipment from our front desk.
