With the safety and wellness of our community in mind, the Nampa Recreation Center and
Recreation Department will continue to operate with guidelines and protocols to help our patrons
and members safely access the facility and programs for health and wellness. Our first priority is
the health and safety of our patrons, our employees and community. As we are in Stage 2 of the
Idaho Rebounds Plan again, here are the safety measures we have in place:

• Masks are allowed and recommended
• Signage reminding users:
o Stay home if you don’t feel well
o Maintain 6 feet of physical distance
o Wash/Sanitize your hands
o Cough/Sneeze into your elbow
o Don’t touch your face
o Do your part – clean equipment/before and after use
• Increased cleaning & sanitation, with extra attention to high-touch surfaces and equipment
• Access to hand sanitizer through the facility
• Limited locker room use – come ready to workout/swim and leave the same way
• Youth Activity Center is closed
• Room/Party rentals will only be accepted for groups of 10 or fewer

• Group fitness classes will have class size limitations
o TRX & Paddleboard Fitness will require registration
o All other classes will be on a first come, first serve basis
• Yoga mats will not be provided – please bring your own yoga mat
• Sharing of equipment will not be allowed
• Limited senior focused classes

• Pool deck will open for fitness swimming, water walking and family unit/household recreational
• Limited locker room use - come ready to workout/swim and leave the same way
• Spa is open – 4 person maximum
• Sauna is open – 4 person maximum
• Steam room is closed
• No slide/diving well at this time

• Any program/class requiring transportation will not be offered
o With exception of our day camp program getting children to school (masks required)

• Memberships can be placed on hold during this time
• Current membership holds can be extended

In an effort to keep our community safe, we require the following of our employees:
• Employee self-check health screenings prior to coming to work
• Face coverings when physical distancing cannot be maintained or guaranteed

We have implemented these guidelines and protocols to help our patrons and members
acknowledge physical distancing and still utilize the facility and programs we offer.
