Traditions Tang Soo Do This class teaches self-confidence, builds self-esteem and improves balance, while establishing discipline and courtesy towards others. Participants will learn age appropriate self-defense and weapons training. These classes are non-violent; sparring is optional. Clothing and Equipment Beginning students should wear loose fitting clothing, such as sweat pants and a t-shirt. No jewelry or watches during class. A mouth guard when sparring and a groin protector cup (males) are recommended. Nampa Parks & Recreation Presents Silver Screen on the Green Come out to the park and enjoy the silver screen on a large inflatable movie screen. Grab a blanket, a lawn chair, family and friends, and head to Optimist Park in Nampa. Movies begin at dusk. July 2 – Disney Cinderella July 9 – Tom and Jerry July 16 – Raya and the Last Dragon July 23- Ferdinand July 30- The Greatest Showman

Rappelling Class This class is designed for individuals who have little or no prior experience in rappelling. Rappelling is the act of descending a rope in a safe and controlled manner. Come learn basic rappelling principles at our 30-foot climbing wall. Participants will learn how to descend a rope with an ATC and Figure Eight while having a focus on safety. This class does not cover anchor building for outdoor rappelling. This class is a great way to develop the confidence needed to pursue additional technical skills.
